Coventry and Warwickshire-based accountants and charity experts Harrison Beale & Owen (HB&O) are among the first to pledge their support to the Coventry 4 Good campaign.
Sue Ogle, director of operations and development at VAC, said: “We are delighted that Harrison Beale & Owen are eager to show their support for Coventry 4 Good which hopes to make it easier for community groups, charities, social enterprises, businesses and individuals to work in harmony and form partnerships.
“Businesses are able to get involved in a variety of ways such as participating in office bake sales, helping to renovate a community centre, sponsoring an event or even establishing a payroll giving scheme for employees.”
Mark Ashfield, director at Harrison Beale & Owen which has offices in Coventry and Leamington, added: “It is important that businesses are able to establish strong links within the community and one way we can achieve this is by helping to enhance projects taking place in the city.
“The Coventry 4 Good initiative will make it easier for individuals and businesses to pledge their support with all of the donations received distributed to local good causes.
“We have worked with Voluntary Action Coventry for a number of years and we are looking forward to coming up with ways in which we can get involved in the Coventry 4 Good scheme.”
