Our friends at The Wigley Group have done us proud once again with a temporary loan of a rotavator, through Coventry 4 Good, to the Old City Farm in Hillfields. Coventry 4 Good was approached by the project, which is run by Motorvate UK and Vanishing Barriers, who needed help to prepare the ground in order to grow food with local residents. Alan Greenway and Lee Hopkins from The Wigley Group not only delivered a rotavator to site, and demonstrated its use, but also contributed a can of petrol to help the work get underway.

Gardening Volunteer at the Old City Farm Niall O’Donnell said “this will make a huge difference to us during the summer – it means we can get on with our planting and be able to engage the local community. Thanks very much to Coventry 4 Good for your help.” And in return, Coventry 4 Good would like to thank The Wigley Group for their time and generosity.
