On Tuesday 21st June 2016 Coventry University and Coventry 4 Good held a celebration event at St Peter’s Centre in Hillfields to recognise and celebrate the work of 7 voluntary and community organisations who are engaging Coventry University staff, students and local residents in a range of projects that are making a difference in communities around the university campus. 

The event provided an opportunity to hear about the funded projects and how working collaboratively has made an impact and created new opportunities.  Organisations presenting included:

  • Coffee Tots
  • Foleshill Women’s Training
  • Warwickshire Wildlife Trust
  • Godiva Trust
  • Highlife Centre
  • Positive Images Festival
  • Radio Plus

In addition there was an update on the Coventry FabLab http://www.covfablab.org.uk/  which is due to open shortly in the City Arcade in Coventry.
